I'm sure we're all familiar with the Just Say No campaign of the 80's spearheaded by then-First Lady Nancy Reagan, who believed that drug abuse was a significant problem in the country and that a concerted effort was needed to prevent young people from becoming addicted to drugs. While the campaign received mixed reviews and criticism from some quarters, it did raise awareness about the dangers of drug abuse and influenced public opinion on the issue. Its legacy continues to be felt today in ongoing efforts to combat drug abuse and addiction.

Today senior lead officer Mike Scott is leading a new resurgence of the campaign to address many of the issues that are plaguing our communities. Drugs, gangs, crime, and bullying. I have personally been involved in this effort for the past several years and I'm even more committed as of late because my own son has been a victim of bullying. Officer Scott is determined to reach young people as preventive measure to keep kids out of the system.

Check out our interview bellow and reach out to have us come out to your kids school!
